Tired of Chronic Pain?

Your First Visit

On your first visit, we ask that you bring with you all pertinent medical records from previous doctors. The report from the radiologist of your previous diagnostic studies is extremely important. We use these, along with a history and physical exam performed on the first visit to design a treatment plan specifically for you.

You will speak directly with the physician to discuss all your questions and concerns. We believe a good doctor must first be a good listener. Utmost importance is placed upon patient satisfaction. Not all painful conditions are able to be treated with interventional pain management and we do not use narcotics to cover up painful symptoms. However, in a majority of cases, we can find the source of the problem and offer solutions specific to your case.

If you are scheduled for a procedure, do not eat or drink anything for 4 hours prior to the scheduled time. You will need to bring someone to drive you home. If you are a diabetic or are taking several medications, make sure to discuss this with the nursing staff prior to arrival. Some medications may need to be withheld or decreased prior to your procedure.

If for any reason, you are unable to make your appointment, please call as soon as possible so that we can offer that time to another patient who is in need.
